Through the Ammar M Group , SME Centre of Excellence, Asian Business Connexions and wider regional partnerships, Ammar has helped businesses start, survive and thrive, while supporting communities, organisations and entrepreneurs to access opportunity, confidence and long-term growth.

His work through ISS strengthens this wider mission by supporting inward investment, UK market entry, international trade, soft landing opportunities and strategic business expansion from the North East to global markets.
Current initiatives such as Inclusion by Default and Primary to Prosperity reflect his continued focus on social mobility, enterprise education, inclusive innovation and regional prosperity. His mission remains clear: to encourage, enable and empower people to create meaningful economic and social change.

From enterprise support centres and community-led initiatives to international trade, soft landing and inward investment activity, his focus is on turning locations into engines of opportunity. Through ISS and ISS Airview, this work now extends across UK market entry, internationalisation, trade corridors, logistics, investment and regional development.
Based in the North East, with reach across the UK and global markets including South Asia, Türkiye, South Africa, the Netherlands, the USA and the Middle East, Ammar continues to support place-based growth that connects local ambition with international opportunity.

Programmes
Ammar has spent over 30 years designing and delivering programmes that help individuals, businesses and organisations build capability, confidence and growth.
His work spans enterprise education, investment readiness, inclusive innovation, business model development, internationalisation and leadership support. Through initiatives connected to the AmmarM Group, SME Centre of Excellence, Asian Business Connexions, Yohlar and ISS, these programmes have supported entrepreneurs, SMEs, public-sector partners and community organisations across the North East and wider UK.
This includes formally accredited training and development activity with recognised bodies including City & Guilds, SFEDI and the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs, alongside innovation-focused work such as the Business Model Innovation programme and the Innovation Pathway across the North East and North Cumbria.
Current programme themes such as Inclusion by Default, Primary to Prosperity and international growth through ISS continue this mission — helping people and organisations turn ideas into action, access opportunity and create lasting economic and social impact.
